Data analytics lead
Job description
We are seeking somebody to help unpack some major market trends and provide deeper insights in major data sets on the future of the industry. You will lead our data analytics and build the support team to help the PTC to continue to deliver its world class insights. This role will be broad and you will work hand in hand with the Head of technology in delivering a range of products in line with our product roadmap.
Key responsibilities
- Design, test, build and deploy fit-for-purpose ML models
- Monitor and maintain ML models that are built
- Craft and deliver well designed software required to serve ML models
- Analyse, create, test and deploy data and feature sets built from a mix of raw and modelled data
- Lead product roadmaps for data exploration and analysis
- Deliver quality experimentation processes by driving good practice experiment design, monitoring and the interpretation of results
- Lead the data science team (# TBC)
Required experience
- Strong mathematical and statistical reasoning
- Expert ML fundamentals (i.e. knowledge of different ML + applicability)
- Extensive experience working with relational databases, data modelling and engineering approaches
- Strong knowledge of the role of data science in product development
- Experimentation methodologies, best practices and interpretation
- Knowledge of key market practices such as devops
- Model development (i.e. following a methodical process of analysing data and producing inferences)
- Experience in building quality fit-for-purpose software
- Ability to work with key team members + take the
- Data analysis and sense making
- SQL
- Data manipulation and transformation
- Designing experiments and interpreting results
- Action and impact oriented that enjoys working with others collaboratively
